Battle of OS google android VS. microsoft windows 8 for tablet

htc sense 4
Last week, my father went back home from abroad and I saw with him a new tablet called HTC Sense 4. I borrowed it to him, browsed and test its feature for almost 4 hours. After test driving it, I've been impressed by the looks and features offered by this new HTC product. Compared to other tablets I've had already used, HTC sense performs a lot better, that's why I bet that this TAB running with Google Android OS will become one of the hottest gadgets this 2012.
There will be lots of OS that will be competing this year. But, the question is, what operating system will lead among all of them?

For me its Google Android and Windows 8 OS.
Using handsets supported by Google android comes with a very different look and feel. Because Google android is an open source operating system, which means manufacturers can freely customize their software style and can also modifies its default features. This OS has now been used by some big company like HTC and VERISON to create their Smartphone’s and tablets. This is one of the positive effect to their OS being open an open source.

Given be deficient in media attention by Windows tablets when compared to iPad and Android based counterparts, it is ironic that this Windows 8 based tablets would eventually turn into the only tablet that would be able to compete with Android. Evenly, my prediction for this is that, unlike Apple, Microsoft's business model in the tablet space is much related to Google's OS. They make the operating system and donate hardware manufacturer to get into t war with it. This translates to more and further options for consumers. Also, what would really power Windows 8 tab is the fact that it runs in a Windows desktop operating System.

That’s the reason why I choose Microsoft's Windows 8 as the main competitor to Android. This is what going to boil downcast. The only distrust is whether Microsoft would successfully advertise their advantage as the only tablet operating System that is backward compatible with older PC applications. But in the end, we as the user has the power to choose what's OS work well. Some would prefer this or that, it depends on the needs of each and everyone of us. But for me it's Google android and Windows 8 that will be strong competitors for this year's battle of TABLET PC OS.
